Donut Bistro - A Delicious Fusion of Chinese Cuisine and Gourmet Donuts

I utterly love Donut Bistro. They are just awesome and a close second to what I imagine heaven must be like. Best service/quality/portions/price ratio ever. Plus you can get a donut after you finish your meal.

Great food, small family owned business with excellent, authentic Chinese and Vietnam food. Dounut are great too.

I'm finding the price of Chinese lunch specials going up all over to around $10.50 to $12.00 or more in some places. But here at The Donut Bistro in south Reno they're just $9.15! On top of that the food is actually really good, better than some of those more expensive places. As usual the lunch comes with egg drop or hot and sour soup, 2 crab rangoons and fried rice. No egg roll but no big deal. The fried rice here is not just that cheap, brown "colored" fried rice with nothing else but rice that comes with most lunch "specials", but it's real fried rice with egg and veggies in it and it tastes like real fried rice. The lunch comes with tons of choices of dishes, from sweet and sour anything, to veggies and meats to an unusual dish I don't see anywhere else on special, Spicy pork and Asian Eggplant. Tasty and just a little spicy. Check out the lunch specials for just $9.15 and even get some donuts to go!

This family is so nice, so hard-working, so honest. Willing to work with any dietary restrictions, and able to answer any food requests. Very homey and the quality is highly insane for what a small family in Reno can do. The food of Chinese, donuts, Cantonese, Vietnamese, is very good, the dim sum is also so good and The service is always top notch, even near closing time or calling at any point they always make sure to take care of you! The owners even remember their regulars, and even people who do not come regularly. It is really amazing. They should definitely always stay in business. It is always such a warm and loving Atmosphere to be in!

Loved it here! The reviews are real! I was so surprised by the quality of the food and flavor!! It’s a mom and pop donut shop/restaurant and they deliver in portion size!!! You won’t go wrong eating anything here. My fav is the egg rolls and shrimp Mongolian with white rice with a Thai tea! Oh and the tea is great everything tastes the same each time you go! Definitely a go to place when I come back to Nevada!

CHOP SUEY! So old school and Donut Bistro has it on lunch special for just $9.45. That dish is nowhere to be found these days, like outta the 1960's. I didn't order that, but my friend did and he liked it. It was the chicken version. Comes with soup, crab rangoon things and fried rice. Something offered no where else. I had the eggplant and pork lunch, which is very good actually. The price is right compared to what prices are elsewhere. This place sells donuts AND Chinese food and goes by another name as well, Pho Noodles as well as Donut Bistro. The donuts don't come on line till they open at 10am, so that's kinda late if you want donuts for breakfast.

A friend told me this Donut Shop has the best Singapore curry noodles! They do serve all kinds of Asian food here too besides donuts. The noodles dish is around $14 bucks and includes shrimp and chicken. It was a big ole plate of food, but I finished it cause it was so good. They get just the right proportion of noodles to curry for the right flavor and texture. Very casual place, so not a dtate place at all, just great food!

My father called me at work asking for donuts.. now it's like 7:30pm ... We're am I going to find not just donuts but good donuts? Thankfully this place was open and nearby my parents enjoyed their pastries very much.. thank you!
